Although Kung Fu is the central structure through which training occurs, the Japanese art of Ju Jutsu is taught as a sister art in Fanchento. Fanchento is in fact recognised as a modern system of Ju Jitsu.
Ju Jutsu is the ancient fighting art of the Samurai. It has as its focus throwing, grappling and joint locks. Fanchento Kung Fu combines the best of this art into its system offering training in the full range of fighting atmospheres: Arms strikes, leg strikes, body strikes, throwing, joint locks, grappling and weaponry. This ensures a well-rounded student who becomes proficient in all spheres but masters only one. In the words of Master Davidow: “Learn everything, but master one thing… focus energy to one point.”
